Biography
G A I L
Sunlit Forest
The crystal blue sky shines brightly above as you step into the woodland. You can feel the sun's warm embrace as you step through the openings between the sparse trees. Below at your feet the soil is lush and a multitude of insects are marching along with their day. Several long haired hares are bouncing between thick foliage underneath an oak tree, the girth and height of the wood giving clear knowledge of its old age. Further a head a few deer are grazing on the fertile earth and a small fox cub is bounding around outside of a near by den sniffing and tentatively licking at the ground for its first taste of bugs.

The cool breeze blows through the trees, a symphony of gentle rustling ensues as the leaves are disturbed. Looking closer at the treetops there is a small nest at one of the highest points of the thickest branch sheltering from the mid-day sun. A small tails hangs over the edge, identifiable by the deep blue strokes of colour in the hair. Another, heavier gust of wind bellows along the tree lines, pulling the tail along with it - the vibrant wisps of hair camouflaging into the background of the sky, twinkling and sparkling when exposed to rays of sunlight. As if in reaction to this sudden manipulation the tail slowly disappears back into the safety of the nest. The small nest is not the only surprise the trees in the forest throw. The overgrown limbs of the trees are even more inviting to a wonderful array of birds. All manner of strange fauna and flora can be spotted on the surface of these ancient trees, welcoming treat for the plethora of vibrant shapes crawling along each branch. Upon this common oak tree is a very special harvest hidden away beneath layers of foliage - honey. A cavity burrowed out by bees to make way for their hive has left it teeming with dripping, sticky gold, its sweet breath carried on the winds when Gail first came into this woodland and it's the reason she stayed here to nest.

In the night the buzzing of the day grows down to a quite trill - the bees retreat back to their hive, the birds dock and congregate onto the branches and into their own homes. The blue hues of Gail's mane grows darker and brings a brilliant camouflage in the brisk nights here, where she can go hunting for her favourite foods. Her eyes alit with an eerie glow she creeps down from the treetops, steering herself for the challenge ahead. Her paws glide lightly along the ground as she visits those around her, the family of mossy beetleboar now resting into the silence of the night, the curious lone fox cub now accompanied by its mother out for a night time meal, the hares grazing close by their den. Finally she reaches the reasonable sized pond hidden just beyond the treeline by vegetation and bushes. She dips her paws in the the cold water and submerges herself searching for the illusive Crawdad lobster to gorge herself on for her night time meal.
