Biography
_______________________________
Subspecies Lore: Clownfish Darter
Breed: Fae
Genotype:
Primary: Pinstripe
Secondary: Trail
Tertiary: Underbelly, Contour, Spines, Scales, or Glimmer
Phenotype:
Primary & Secondary: Cantaloupe
Tertiary: White, Maize, Black, Obsidian, Oilslick or Cantaloupe
This subspecies is even more shy than their larger cousins, content to live out their entire lives in their anemone homes. The Darters have strong family bonds, and a keen eye can catch them planting and tending to new anemones, growing their family ‘house’ even larger. And if they can grow their anemone gardens to impressive sizes, perhaps even an Imperial Clownfish will move in! This is seen as a great honor. The Tidelord created these Imperials to be leaders, after all, while the Darters are simply caretakers.
When dark times befall Sornieth and the Imperial Clownfish leave, the Darters remain behind, ensuring the health and safety of the Tidelord’s many reefs. Everyone needs a home to come back to, after all. Even though Darters love telling stories just as much as the next Imperial, they don’t go out of their way to approach strangers to pass them on. Instead, they rely on the Imperial Clownfish to gather new stories for them to pass around their reef. However, if one listens closely, one can hear the small chatter of these Darters regaling tales to their hatchlings.
