Arcane magic is known to manifest in many strange ways, and such was the case with Azalea. Instead of being born with pale flowers like her siblings, Azalea was born with bright pink flowers that matched her Arcane eyes perfectly. Furthermore, while her siblings' flowers were night-blooming and had no scent, Azaelea's were day-blooming and released a pleasantly sweet scent, almost like that of bubblegum. Some dragons theorize that her mother - who also bore pink flowers - had a sweet tooth so influential that her daughter was born smelling of the sugary treats she loved so dearly, while others think that Azalea's own love of sweets is what gives her flowers their signature candy-like aroma.

Azalea is known to be kind, however sometimes distrustful. She can come across as rude on occasion, but this is because of her coldness to Plague dragons. She has been noted to utterly despise Zelus, despite the fact that the two have had very minimal interaction.

It is unknown why Azalea seems hesitant to interact with Plague dragons. Lusterus once tried to run an errand for her, and she somewhat coldly brushed her off. The resulting "Jeez,who hurt you?" from the Plague Fae was met with a glare.

Overall, she is a mostly kind dragon, however she does appear to be holding a strong grudge against the plague flight, and can be aloof and hard to read, due to her slight unwillingness to open up to others.
