❏.ORIGINS What they called the Thundercrack hatched to parents of very little standing. To be honest, nobody had quite realized Halcyon and Tiara were actual clan members, though Tiara crossly claimed she'd been around 'seven whole years and you didn't even notice'. When asked why they were around anyway, there was some shrugging and muttering about a project or something. Their hatchling was about as much of an enigma as they were. She was a Lightning dragon, little doubt about that. And she was terribly impressive, and powerful. And there was little doubt she would move on, for a storm does not settle. And Leonardo... Well, he came out of the same nest. But Leonardo was not the Thundercrack. No, not at all.

The legend of the Thundercrack was that she was less a dragon, more a primal force that tore across the sky. The legend of Leonardo was apparently that he was so lazy, he didn't even break his eggshell open. It had to be peeled apart, piece by piece. As the Thundercrack took her first flight at about two minutes old, snoring could be heard from the egg. Then, while the Thundercrack spat lightning and wowed every dragon present, Leo decided to roll over and have a nap! Actually, no, skip the rolling over part - too much effort. Nap time, here and now. Despite having the same primal eyes as his sister, it was like all the energy the Thundercrack emanated had been drawn from Leo. Being the closest relative of the Thundercrack that chose to stay with the clan (through pure laziness, of course), Leo was supposed to be the clan's Lightning rep, but as of writing, he has left his cave a grand total of twice (on both occaisions napping in the sun). He spends most of his cave time cooing over the many items he's hoarded from past Lightning festivals, and sleeping. It's mostly sleeping, to be honest with you. Some believe he will go to the moon one day. Which moon, nobody is sure.
