Paul is a young dragon who, in human years, would be around in his twenties. He's a very spiritual guy, believing in a lot of things but mainly subscribing to the idea that your good deeds in your life decide what you'll be reborn as. He believes that he is destined to do something great, but he doesn't know what yet, and as he ages he gets more and more antsy about it.

He collects tapestries and puts them on the walls around his house.

family troubles:

He's not really close to any of his siblings, but feels the most disdain for Susie, envious of how well everything seems to go for her. Even though, logically, she probably has her own issues, all Paul sees are the good things. He thinks Digby is just gross.

His adoptive mother, Fluffy, used to coddle him a lot, but now that he's living on his own he feels like his whole childhood was a farce ... he can't quite feel that he is connected to the family the way his adoptive parents and siblings do.
