Thought many thought this quirky dragon did not have the temperament to make a permanent member of the court, his antics amused the Emperor, and he quickly became a favored courtier, despite his status as an outsider. Eventually, Emperor Huangdi made him his guoshi - the Teacher of the Realm - a position of great respect and importance.

Since the young Taizi Dianxia was appointed, Qiangwei Guoshi has taken them under his wing as his disciple
