Fauna hatched on Valentines day along with her siblings, and her father immediately noticed the fragile looking wings that she emerged form her shell with. To be sure, Poseidon requested that this little Spiral be kept with him so that he could keep an eye on her, to ensure that her wings were strong enough before setting out on her journey. Khione had begrudgingly agreed, as she would rather have seen her children experience the world on their own. Sadly, Fauna's wings never strengthened, and remained fragile as she aged. Otherwise healthy, but unable to fly without the assistance of magic, she took to tending to the critters that remained awake in the cold of winter and honing her magical abilities. She is slightly jealous of her younger brother, Eumolpos, for being the chosen heir and taking so much of their mother's time, but she's happy spending time with her father instead. She also encouraged Eumolpos' creativity from a young age, and loves seeing him in his element - performing melancholic melodies in the dead of winter.
