To smile. To laugh. To hold the world in the palm of your hand. To feel light on your scales, dirt between your claws, and the joy of nature in your blood. To draw that joy out from where you've buried it. In Irkalla's view, that "spark" is within everyone. It's his job to find it, uncover it, heal what's caused it to be buried, and allow it to be expressed.

At least, that's how he would put it. To everyone else, Irkalla is a counselor, with a hilarious tendency to wax lyrical about it when given the chance. But despite that, everyone agrees that he is damn skilled at his job.

Gentle and benevolent, Irkalla possesses wisdom far beyond his twenty-five years, and a patience that doesn't ever seem to run out.... unless you call someone a "lost cause," that is. He firmly believes that everyone has good in them, and that in 99% of chances, it is worth trying to find it. He is not naïve enough to believe that includes everyone, however - he does, in fact, have firsthand experience with at least one of those people. It's very likely that the Faceless Monarch is not the only person he's met like that, but whenever the topic is brought up, Irkalla refuses to elaborate.

Irkalla lives simply and modestly, and does not live with anyone else. He enjoys gardening and botany, and many people theorise that he is a Nature dragon at heart. When it comes to performances, Irkalla declines performing on-stage every time. Rumours have it that he used to be a stage hypnotist before he quit, but no-one's quite sure about the details. Despite all that, however, Irkalla's reputation is quite positive among fans. But it is far overshadowed by the reputation of his estranged brother or of his current patient - something which he doesn't seem to mind.
