Des leads her own pack of hunters through the sun drenched ruins, all of them marked to blend in with their surrounds. She's fond of taking in dragons that mirror her earthy tones as the bright dragons of the lair are hardly stealthy enough to keep up with her. Officially, she simply leads these dragons off to hunt - unofficially, Des leads her little pack into border skirmishes and Beastclan battles.

If Des had not been born outside the clan she would have been Tallis' pick as heir, the worst kept secret in the clan. Although still young she has proven herself skilled enough to lead her pack in battle without the help of her older clanmates and serves as an unofficial part of Tallis' council, something that rubs the clan born contenders for third in command the wrong way.
