Did someone say, “Crystals?”
Jacaranda is an avid collector of shiny, sparkly stones. From kunzite to lapis lazuli to amethyst, she has at least one of every known specimen stashed in her lair. Her organization system is impeccable. She has all her precious stones alphabetized and arranged by color– not that any other dragon would ever see it. She hides her beloved shinies deep within her chambers behind a false wall. This Wildclaw truly goes out of her way to ensure that her collection is safe from prying eyes– and claws! She would lose her mind if anything happened to her rocks. She has spent so much cherished time and energy securing each and every stone. This is her life’s work– her true passion. Nothing will ever come between Jacaranda and her crystals. 
Her collection does not merely excel in size. It’s also impressive in terms of rarity, legitimacy, and value. Jacaranda has a shrewd, discerning eye for the authenticity of gems. Shadowbinder forbid anyone try to sell her a fake. She’d spot it from a mile away. Once, a dragon tried to sell her a piece of dyed quartz, claiming it was citrine. She scoffed and then proceeded to loudly announce in front of everyone which stones in his collection were fakes. Turns out most of them weren’t real. Humbled, the charlatan offered her a heavy discount on a truly authentic, truly enormous tanzanite tower. This gem is now one of the crown jewels of Jacaranda’s collection. She named the tower ‘Mysty.’ Yes, she names her favorite crystals. What of it? They’re her friends. Sometimes, she even talks to them. They don’t answer back– if they did, that would be rather concerning. Still, they’re great companions. Their mystical energies fill her lair, manifesting positive energies. She just likes having them around. They’re neat! And they make great gifts, for the very few that she can bear to give away. 
Jacaranda adores fashioning artistic jewelry from the gems she finds. Her rose quartz tiaras with little stone flowers are truly a sight to behold. Even her tiny opal rings are special, carved to look like little animals curled around the wearer’s finger. She spends several hours every day polishing each piece and ensuring everything gleams like the morning sun. She often wears her favorites out and about. She is the envy of the clan, decked out in her jewels. Jacaranda shimmers and shines. She’s earned the nickname, ‘Sparkles’ because of how she adorns herself. Hatchlings like to chase the little patches of light her jewels make on the ground. She’s a walking, talking, glimmering rainbow– and she wouldn’t have it any other way. 
Besides aesthetics, Jacaranda’s stones serve another purpose. All of her rocks possess mystical energies that she harnesses for the benefit of herself and others. She’ll occasionally offer to assist healers with their duties, reaching into her pack for a tourmaline pendant or obsidian bracelet. Some dragons wonder if she’s actually helping, or if her rituals are the result of mere superstition. Either way, none of them can deny that whenever Jacaranda is in the room, patients tend to heal much faster. There must be some truth to her belief in crystals. Sornieth is full of magic and wonder, so it wouldn’t be a stretch to assume that pieces of the earth itself possess some of that magic. The beauty of Jacaranda’s collection is magic in its own right.
