"...the cold reclaims..."
The Ice dragons of the Southern Icefield are collectors. They prefer to be as rigid and cold as winter's chill. Of all the dragons, Ice dragons are the least emotional, carefully preserving the world around them to be later analyzed and catalogued. Fossils and artifacts are their favored treasures.
Raised in the Rimebone Stockade by the artificers that call it home, Aracaryn reveres and respects the stoic god ruling over the Southern Icefield. His origins are unknown, having wandered off from his birth clan and found himself among the perilous spires of the Stockade, and though he finds himself wondering about who he may have left behind, he has little desire to seek them out, happy in his home despite its unforgiving nature.
Still, his natural curiosity never subsided, and he found himself wandering once again far from the Stockade, leaving behind its icy cells and seemingly-bottomless pits. He traveled north, through the Cloudscrape Crags, over the Snowsquall Tundra, the Rimebone Stockade long-forgotten as he wandered alone.
Alone. Always alone. No family, no home, no clan, no mate. All he truly had was his deep, devout worship of the Icewarden and his beloved flight. Yet, somehow, he never felt lonely, as if the Icewarden himself watched his every move and protected him like the father he never knew.
