Biography
He's a distant king of Myste and I think, judging from the apparel I've put on him, he might have made a deal with Bloodstone. Maybe it was a last-ditch effort to protect the country from plague? war? something else? Thoughts are appreciated! But what I am thinking is that this deal made the good king bad and he turned on his people toward the end of his contract. Maybe he was killed in a fire or something of the sort?
oml arzi is extremely cool. love that accent on those colors. and with the bloodstone chain thing? very cool. the coolest kid in the playground for sure. you could definitely match a plague to his lore, esp given his appearance kind of makes me think of how plague victims were often burned to destroy the infection. perhaps that was his fate too at the end? burning for the pact he made?
He was indeed a good king and wanted to keep his kingdom safe. Perhaps one of his underlings foresaw great danger coming to their kingdom, "Red wave of Destruction" or something along those lines. It made Arzi make a deal with Bloodstone, but in a twist of fate, this deal made Arzi become "the Red wave of Destruction" as Bloodstone's magic (or something) corrupted him.
Over 100 years ago, the Kingdom of Myste was a peaceful place. The citizens were free of worry and discontent. Everything changed when their beloved king, Arzi was plagued by a horrific nightmare. It foretold the coming of a great disaster that would lay waste to the capital. Hoping to prevent surefire destruction, Arzi traveled the world hoping to find a god to help his city. This journey eventually brought him to the hallowed halls of Bloodstone, the Mother of Monsters and the Queen of Beasts. He pleaded with her and offered up untold riches in exchange for the promise of protection. It took some convincing, but she finally agreed. The price was rather steep, however, as the Skullbeast had no need for riches and gifts. She only wanted one thing: his Soul. Arzi would have ten more years of peace and prosperity before the Beast came to reclaim her debt. After that, well his descendants would have to deal with the carnage.
