Biography

Centauri Splendoria, an artisan who specializes in fine marble statues. From paperweights to colossi, Centauri can do it all. He owes his inspiration to his greatest muse, the Lightweaver herself. Especially as such a tiny dragon, he hopes that one day that his patron may one day notice his lovingly crafted work and smile upon him.
Otherwise, he hopes that it will warm the heart of someone else...

Selected Virtue: Patience
Hindering Vice: Intense self-expectations
  • The most fond of swirly patterns
Birthplace:

From a young age, Centauri had a passion for the arts, especially sculpting. He adored making clay figures throughout his childhood, and in his adolescence, worked on his first, however rudimentary, sculpture out of limestone. He much prefers marble, however, not only due to the texture and look, but as it's the material most associated with his Flight. Centauri, also as an adolescent, began to take his loyalties to his patron very seriously. A benevolent and radiant queen, overseeing and defending the realm, pursuing the truth behind these mystical ruins, bringing light and hope to all.
It was around that time where, once he felt confident enough in his skills, he began making sculpture after sculpture of his muse, The Lightweaver. Year after year he attempts to remake his statues until he can create his magnum opus, one worthy of being presented to The Lightweaver herself and put on display in a museum. His current favorite work is The Olympian, which he created in his young adulthood. He hopes though to create something that resembles the Fern or Boulder pattern that recently emerged on dragons, however.
No amount of time is too long for Centauri when he's working on any given task, even if that means it'll take far longer than normal. He is a firm believer in not rushing perfection, which is excellent for art, but not great for errands. It takes nearly a whole day for him to come home from the market.
He is rather hard on himself, however. Not only on his work, but his personality and looks. He may be a bit of an introvert, but he is amicable enough. He often worries that he may not be as kind or caring as he could, however, or sometimes wonders if he should be less picky with his food or taste in music (he doesn't care for much other than classical, acoustic, strictly instrumental songs) or his personal literature collection (mostly poetry collections). Not only for the sake of personal self-improvement, but in order to hopefully go out and make friends and treat them well, or perhaps even find a special someone.
Centauri is a bit of a romantic at heart, and while he's more awkward than not around most anyone, he can't help but daydream about sharing a studio with someone, carving a sculpture of the two of them side by side, snuggling up with some coffee and reading a good book on a rainy day...
He hopes it'll happen someday, even if most of his flirting attempts go poorly and are more mistaken for attempts to tell someone that there's spathiphyllum stuck between their teeth or that they have a piece of shed still on their face with the long silence and struggle to say anything other than "um".

Exalting Centauri to the service of the Lightweaver will remove them from your lair forever. They will leave behind a small sum of riches that they have accumulated. This action is irreversible.
