Deep in the gardens of the Moon Rise Temple lay a clutch of eggs, glittering in the starlight. A crack appears, then more as an egg splits open, a crystal dragon spilling forth. Two other eggs follow, the new hatchlings greeting the night with curious eyes. Tiny flower along their bodies open to the night, welcoming a gentle breeze that carries the scent of charry blossoms and honey. These are the Crystal Flowers, made by proud parents Obsidian and Nightdaze, nurtured by the moon and flowers, and carried by the quartz nest they lay in.
Like many dragons born in the lands surrounding the Starstone, these young dragons are different, changed. The crystals that spread like a virus through the ground have infected creatures as well. Obsidian and Nightdaze appear to affected outwardly only, who knows if their children will be the same...
