______ Tamua is a kind and gentle soul, always willing to lend a helping hand to friend and foe alike. Due to the sheer size the Thornspeaker clan has grown to, he took an apprentice, Hollowlight, to train as a healer - a Veilspun that's almost like another daughter to him. Tamua himself prefers to use words over claws, but that by no means means he’s weak - Tamua is a healer, and healers have an intimate knowledge of the body. And knowing exactly what they need to heal comes hand in hand with knowing exactly what to break.

______ There is a reason why healers are targeted first on the battlefield, and it’s not just because of their job description.

______ If you were to ask Tamua, the biggest heart attack of his career would be when a shadow-born hatchling stumbled into him in the forest, beaten bloody and barely conscious. He was able to rush Dakota back to the lair in time to save his life, though it was a close call. It was a very brave thing that hatchling did, risking life and limb to come warn them all of the impending Light flight invasion. A warning that without a doubt saved lives. And if Tamua ever comes across the Exalted Imperial that hurt the young Mirror dragon so badly, well. It would definitely go against his oath of ‘do no harm’ to let that monster walk away without a few, ahem…last words.

______ One day, while passing by the bird tree next to Naos's den, Tamua spotted a baby hatchling that had fallen from the nest and broken its wing. Not being a heartless monster, he immediately stopped to help, with Naos eventually coming by in the process. The act of kindness won Naos's heart, not that he was doing that intentionally, and sparked her attempts to woo him. Tamua was initially nervous, as he'd never been the target of a dragon's attention in that matter before, but as time went on, came to relax in Naos's presence, and eventually returned her love. He packed up and moved into her den, and that was that.

______ Why is his steadfast sweeper named Broom Sixteen? Well, it’s because gone through fifteen other brooms prior - the things have this unfortunate tendency to either work themselves to death or meet with unfortunate accidents…poor brooms. Tamua’s determined to keep this one alive - and if that means enforcing mandatory breaks on an enchanted broom, then enforce mandatory breaks he will. And keep an eye out for the thing trying to sneak back to work behind his back...
