Mouhitsu | Quirky | The Inventor "Does it exist? No? Well it will in a few hours!" Silence falls over the Everbloom Gardens as a new day dawns. The creatures of the night are silent, and those who thrive in daylight have not yet awoken. The sun slumbers behind the trees, barely peeking it's head out to welcome the morning. The world seems balanced and peaceful. CLANG! Out of nowhere comes the screech of metal on metal. Birds fly out of the trees, animals scatter in fright. It repeats for hours without fail, until the sun flies high over treetops, disintegrating any hints of shadow below. Finally, the noise ceases. The chirping of birds returns as a small white dragon is seen running and dancing in the flower fields, holding her new latest creation; which appears to be a pile of various gears, levers, and bolts. "I'VE DONE IT! I've finally finished my automatic scale cleaner!" Her piercing voice can be heard from miles away, once again rupturing the calm of the day.

Background:

Mouhitsu hails from the Starfall Aisles. Combining the mystic power of arcane with metalworking, she can successfully create anything she can imagine, though often the inventions aren't all useful. The thirst for magical and mechanical knowledge mirrors the curiosity of the Arcanist himself.

Along with her gift, she was cursed. When she was very young, she fell gravely ill. Her eyes turned black, her plumage faded to the color of bone. The Shade had taken it's grip on her, and she fell into a deep, death-like trance. She was awaken years later, her family and clan gone. She was weak, stumbling around like a newborn, alone. She finally gave up, accepting her fate and giving in to the lull of darkness.

She was saved by a shaman, his abilities of which far surpassed any she had ever seen. He gave her life, and just enough strength to begin anew, with her ever-growing pile of inventions. Though she only remembers him vaguely, one aspect of his appearance never left her mind. Unlike any dragon she had ever seen, he possessed four arms instead of two.

Now, her plumage remains starched white and serves as a reminder of her ordeal. Sometimes, in the right light, her eyes flicker black, but only for a fleeting moment.
