Biography
NALIN
Mate: Dhara | Pronouns: He/Him | Role: Cook
|
Everbloom Gardens Nalin was born and raised in the Everbloom Gardens as a female wildclaw. With an abundance of food, there was little conflict. That didn't mean there were no issues whatsoever. Nalin felt awkward in his own scales but didn't understand why. He always tried to appear smaller than he was and would pluck out the feathers on his lower neck. With the help of an older dragon named Sage, Nalin understood why he he felt this way. From then on, he used male pronouns and study under Sage. Sage taught him about the various herbs in Everbloom Gardens; which ones could be used for medicine and which for cooking. Cooking was Nalin's favorite activity. He specializes in meat dishes as that was his preferred diet and he loved what he'd make. One day, Nalin met Dhara and made his way to her heart through his cooking. He now lives in Dragonhome helping Dhara, her brother, and her sister run there business. |
Personality Nalin is extremely kind and caring. He values his friends and family and always tries to be there for them. Most of the creatures in his life have returned Nalin's kindness with their own. He is also incredibly naive. He sees only the good in others which often leaves him open to getting hurt. Whenever someone hurts him, he tends to shut himself off from others. If someone hurt Nalin, they better hope Dhara doesn't find out, because unlike Nalin, Dhara isn't so nice and forgiving. |

Relationships Dhara: Nalin first met Dhara at the river's edge. The very river that separated their flights' territory. Dhara was looking rather miserable, and though Nalin didn't know why she was upset, he made it his mission to make her happy. He failed at his task rather miserably, as Dhara drop her large tail on him to keep him quiet. But, he never gave up and since Dhara never told him to stay away, he kept coming back. Even brought her hot food after a hard day's work. One of Nalin's favorite activities to do with Dhara, is to lay beside her larger body as they enjoy his cooking. A year after Dhara's confession, the pair became mates and now wear rings to symbolize their relationship. Sage: Sage was the elder dragon who found Nalin as an older hatchling plucking out his feathers hidden under some ferns. They talked for hours before Sage figured out Nalin was struggling with gender dysphoria. Their talk had been incredibly helpful for Nalin, and when Sage asked Nalin to become his student, the wildclaw quickly accepted. For years, Sage passed on his knowledge to Nalin all the while guiding him to make healthy choices for himself. The day Nalin left for Dragonhome, was a sad day for Sage. But he couldn't have been more proud of how far his student had come. Nalin visits once a moon to share news with Sage over a cup of tea. |
