Shaami had enjoyed growing plants since the earliest days of her youth, unaware that her confusion at others not seeming as enthusiastic with her favorite hobby stemmed from others being unable to speak with plants (which seemed much more like a them problem than anything strange about herself. When some sort of pesky necromancing witch had skeletons traipse through her garden, the snapper was bound to have words for her. She was ready for the argument and possible fight such a mage might put up, and set off to confront her. What she didn’t expect was for Yafe, the witch, to fall madly in love with her and swear off skeletons entirely if it meant having her come over for tea - which was quite flattering to the herbalist who’d spent her whole childhood being told she was too weird and her whole adult life being told she looked too old for her age. Over time, Shaami found that she quite liked the witch too, and they decided upon being witch-wives. A very easy decision for them both, really. They adopted three sons and spent their days growing mushrooms as a delightful hobby, and Shaami tried her best to get the boys into gardening (more or less successfully). The snapper had even managed to find a super-secret (her closet) space to grow some sunflowers to surprise her wife with every anniversary. All was well, and no problem couldn’t be solved with their combined efforts. Not even an ancient shade-touched warrior and her panic-stricken wife. Salve and tea, respectively, easy.
