Luna, following the rhythmic sound of metal on metal wandered out of the nursery, to the forgery where Damascus was making a helmet. The stockpile of metal is usually larger than it is right now, but the search party had to gather wood to warm the dragons, instead of dig for metals. Luna had sat outside watching Damascus hammer, and listened to the sound of hot metal cool down in the water before, but this was the first time they went close enough to feel the heat of the forge on their scales. It's amazing they can last this long in the heat, thought Luna.

The hammering stopped, "what do you need little one?" Startled by the sudden speech Luna, answered with a short "Nothing!"
