★★★ QUICK LOOKWandering Rose Calliope, the first daughter of Mnemosyne, took the path less traveled out of her siblings. She has taken to libraries, hiding away amongst them, looking for answers on her own terms, for her own reasons. Sure, helping her mother would be a great thing, but it isn't exactly her reason for searching the hundreds on hundreds of libraries across Sornieth, trying her damndest to figure out where she comes from, and why even amongst her peers, of dragons her size and larger, there is a twang of fear gripping their hearts as she slips past them to seek out a history known to no one. |

★★★ PERSONALITY Being Mnemosyne's firstborn daughter and the youngest of her three other siblings, Calliope is incredibly aware of her surroundings, especially without her brothers to keep an eye out for her. She's got terrible low-light vision, making it a bit difficult to travel at night or in dark areas, so she relies heavily on a lantern tied around wrist, so she prefers traveling during the day as a result. She's adopted neither her mother or father's personality, opting instead to be quiet and reserved, opting to avoid those like her- Imperials- Due to how unpredictable their lifespans are, and she is always upfront with her new friends that they may well outlive her. Despite her emotional walls, Calliope is a deeply caring individual, always ready to jump into combat and bare her teeth for a friend. |

★★★ HISTORY Not long after Erato left home and mailed his first letter, Calliope decided she would be the second amongst them to follow in his footsteps. Unlike Erato, Calliope chose to do this without the assistance of Sparrow. Instead, Calliope announced her departure, packed her bags, gave her family a tearful goodbye, engaged in a wonderful and joyful feast that lasted all night, and was off by sunrise the next day, leaving the Hewn City in her past, looking forward to brighter, warmer futures, where she can one day come home with answers. But now, she is left asking herself, as she settles in with her new clan, is it worth the effort? Perhaps she should remain blissfully aware, leaving every aspect of her family in her past. |
