Nawa is a gentle soul, learning how to cook from their father and how to control their volatile magic from the magicians of the Drifting Island… except when they’re the furthest thing from gentle. Their mood tends to reflect their magic instead of the other way around, and when their magic spikes, so does their mood, sending them into a mindset where all they want is to fight and tear and release all the angry energy within them, as the ground around them freezes over. This is a remnant of their mother’s lineage, something that is still being investigated. In the meantime, they’re learning to put their energy into something more constructive, like digging loads of holes in farmlands, or running several miles. They like to hang out with the other members of the Aevus Abode, though they’re not allowed to help Storm and Lightning out with cooking just yet. It’s hard to bring themselves under control sometimes, but they’re trying their best everyday. That should be enough for now. the first you meet is a little coatl, with the tips of her wings made of stars. she invites you to gaze at the stars with her. agree, and she’ll sit you down, and ramble on and on about the things she knows. she tells you about how the sky can guide your way, if you study them close enough. listen well, and listen long. eventually, she will laugh, and push you away. she says nothing else. you look up at the stars, and they guide you to the next point: a tiny tent, with a red cross on top of it. you enter— |
