Biography
- Due to being born later in the fall season, Tempest has hints of winter in her, from the cooler colors in her scales and wings, to a coldness similar to the Winter Court. However, she's still a member of the Autumn Court, and her unending greed has led her to hoarding any and all riches she can get her hands on: jewelry, fine clothing, precious metals, and gems, just to name a few.
- Her greed has also led her to adding to her hoard in any way possible, including stealing, intimidation, blackmailing, threatening, and killing. Her indifference towards most things and her dark-ice magic that she inherited from her parents makes such tactics easy for her, and she's found such cruelty gets her the best and most riches.
- For the longest time, she had been visiting Sorienth to take the treasures she can and return them to her home in the faeries' realm. One day, however, she went to the Scarred Wasteland in Sorienth and couldn't find the way back, trapping her from her home and hoard. (REWORK BRACKETED; YOU USE PASSING OUT IN THE WASTELAND TOO MUCH)[She flew into a panicked rage, trying desperately to find where she came from. She wore herself out, and collapsed to the ground.]
- [When she woke up, she found herself inside of some building, surrounded by healer dragons. She bolted up and ran out of the building, and tried to fly away. However, she found herself in a giant cavern with a kingdom in it.]
- She flew to the edge of the cavern in hopes of hiding from the dragons. She found a nook in the cavern wall, and once she felt she was well hidden, she began figuring out what to do next. Her eyes fell on to a nearby mansion, and her greed took over.
- She snuck into the mansion and into a room with some riches in it, and started grabbing everything she could. However, the owner of the mansion, Nix, discovered her. Tempest started threatening him, but surprised her when he warmly offered her a meal. Her interest piqued (and her stomach growling), she cautiously accepted.
- Nix prepared breakfast for them, and once they were at the table and had eaten a bit, he began asking her things - her name, how her day was. Tempest was cautious in answering his questions, skeptical as to why he was being so nice. Nix kept asking questions, and eventually she told a summary of what she was and what had happened.
- Nix said he was somewhat familiar with faeries - at least more so than most dragons - and proposed a deal: he would help her find her way back to her realm and offer her a home while they search if she didn't try to steal anything from his home. She accepted the deal, although still skeptical as to why he was being so nice.
- She currently resides within one of the many rooms in Nix's mansion, getting somewhat spoiled by Nix. Though she's still skeptical about him, she's at least convinced that he has no ill intentions for her.
Upon first impression - from the cool blues and purples which tint the edges of her crystalline scales and wings, to the bitter chill which lace her words - one may assume that Tempest was descended from the Winter Court of faeries. However, it quickly becomes apparent her origin is of the Autumn Court from her unending greed, hoarding all the precious materials and products she can get her claws on.
Perhaps as a result of the desire for the Hunt which runs in her bloodline from her many-times-great-grandfather, she's more keen on getting her claws dirty and collecting whatever goods from Sornieth that catch her eye to add to her hoard rather than simply leeching from the Court's existing hoards. Therefore, if she finds something which she desires, she'll do whatever it takes to get it; her Winter-like coldness has lead her to go to lengths such as blackmail, intimidation, and killing to get what she wants, and with her strong magic she inherited from her parents, such tactics are near effortless for her to pull off.
