Ash is a massive threat... Until you meet him and realize he's just a ball of sunshine and not an undead dragon capable of killing everyone.

Ash back when he was alive, was better known as Ardent. Ardent from a young age was a very capable dragon, enjoying all sorts of books and scrolls in his free time. But in his early teens he was found to have brain cancer, with only a couple months left of his life, he tried to spend as much time with those he loved. Although on one of the last days of his life he was buried alive by his own family as he couldn't respond.

Unfortunately this was around the time that Emperor dragons weren't known about at all by the majority. So his family buried him on top of a lot of other Imperials, one of these Imperials being two mates, one who was murdered and the other committed suicide afterwards. The many Imperials that were here and the huge energy deposit in the ground had caused them all to start forming with each other. But Ardent was still alive during all of this, the unnatural amount of energy kept him still alive while his own body was decomposing and forming into the Emperor.

This took thousands of years, and very few dragons from his time lived through this, although his mother did. The extremely painful process of having your own body form into another's, while also being fully aware of everything that was happening to him. It's surprising to say but he remained sane this entire time.

When they were fully formed into each other, he had to watch horribly as the once previously murdered mate ate the other heads. He stayed out of her way to the best of his ability but he did get a tooth mark on the side of his neck. When she had finished eating the others, he finally spoke up to her. Causing her to freak out, not realizing there was still one more, and her hunger was dissipated.

Basically just watched this dragon who he didn't know in the slightest, who was attached to him, eat 3+ other Imperials, and have a breakdown after realizing what she did. For what he understood it was because she couldn't remember who she was. So he just suggested names, with one of these names being Shade.

Whatever the case was the two had to hunt, Shade might not have been hungry anymore, but Ash certainly was. Although everytime they tried to hunt was found futile. Both soon grew weary, trying to work together, but ultimately failing. They soon decided to rest under a rather large tree.

This sort of system for the two went on, and the two only grew closer, usually referring to each other as brother and sister.

That is until sort of recently, nearing around 500 years of being an Emperor,

The little bunny that Ash found that day blew his mind wide open. Especially when Shade didn't try to attack and eat it immediately, so they find out that Shade around other dragons is thankfully the only thing that makes Shade lose her mind. 		Irradiated Astronomer
