Panthera used to be an ordinary statue in the Fortress of Ends. A statue that was gifted to the Guild by a clan of Keepers as a gesture of good faith. In return, the Guild promised to help the Keepers if they would need assistance.

Skilled mages infused the statue with Plague magic, and thus, Panthera was born. As his bright eyes awakened, he was filled with a will to guard the Keep. And that is what he does. Like a watchful dog Panthera, among the other Dungeon Keepers make sure that the beings imprisoned here won't get away. Panthera uses his excellent dark vision and a sense of smell to make sure no one uninvited gets in or out. He knows every smell that should exist within the dungeon, and so, he can spot a new one quickly.

Panthera is surprisingly quick and agile, and he is able to use Plague magic like a naturally born creature. He stores viruses in his body, releasing them to the air like a puffball mushroom if he spots a runaway.

But like a dog, Panthera also has a playful side.
