She absolutely does not talk to ghosts and completely solves cases using deduction and book smarts. Crestfall knows how to work superstitious people, she knows how to soothe them and how to drain them for all their money-- by pretending to be a psychic medium, she's able to take on all the supernatural-inclined clients that the other investigators can't stand. She's practical, suave, and a very quick thinker and improviser. Not immune to some friendly banter in the workplace.
