GELIDUS

Gelidus flew into the lair on a scented summer breeze, as he likes to say. He smelled teacakes on the wind and decided to investigate their source, ending up at the teahouse, where he settled in for the afternoon. Well, at least until they ran out of teacakes. Gelidus has never been great with boundaries, so when he detected freshly baked goods elsewhere he cheerfully followed that scent. He strode from the teahouse main up through the lair, ending up in Glacies's workspace where he began munching cakes from her afternoon tea tray and asking her about her research (a feat in itself, given her reclusive nature). They absolutely hit it off. They talked deep into the night and into the early morning without noticing before a bemused but tired Aude appeared and asked them to keep it down - their laughter was keeping a number of clandragons awake. Amazed at how much time had passed in conversation and loathe to leave the intriguing Imperial he'd just met, Gelidus asked Glacies if she would mind his staying around. She was cheered to have his company, and so he stayed. Gelidus is light of heart and spirit; his laugh is deep and musical, ringing through the lair like a bell. He lives in the moment and thinks that life is really what you make of it. He just wants to have fun. His opinions and feelings seem to change with the wind, all except those towards Glacies (so far). The two have not made their courtship official - they feel a deep connection but are still two very independent dragons. Though they are intimate on-and-off they tend to regard each other as the very best of friends, rather than lovers. Gelidus is fairly clever but has little direction. It is not necessary for him to apply himself and therefore he sees no reason to. He isn't particularly passionate about and is not the best at counselling those who are troubled (his usual advice is just to go with the flow) but he's great as just someone to talk to. In fact, that's what he loves to do most - talk - which is why he spends much of his time with Praesentia, looking after the visiting dragons of the teahouse. Though he wouldn't be described as unreliable, he wouldn't be described as the most reliable either - he's not always great with deadlines, and laughs off any criticism by dragons frustrated with his carefree nature.
