SkyLynx was exiled from her birth nest in the Starfall Isles for being hatched in mourning white. She ended up in the Southern Icefield, where she struggles to keep warm and grapples with the utter inability to understand a word that Airachnid (the Fae clan matriarch) is saying (though some of SkyLynx's clan mates assure her that she's better off not understanding Airachnid, anyway). She serves as the clan's primary trainer of young warrior dragons.
SkyLynx is ready to spring into action at a moment's notice. She seethes with explosive energy, rarely being able to stand still for more than a second. When she's in action, instinct seemingly takes over. She moves with a fluid feline grace, and with a purposelessness that befits one as fearless and daring as she. She basks in the glory of battle. She believes himself superior to many of her fellow clan mates, a feeling that she thinks is justified by her high rank and prodigious fighting skills. She exhibits this feeling by her physical behavior: She rarely touches the ground to stand on the same level as her clan mates. Usually, she's either flying above them or else she's perched on some structure so she can loom over them and make them look up to her. She will leap from building to building, tree to tree, and hilltop to hilltop rather than travel on the ground. Many of her clan mates resent this behavior, which often causes problems when SkyLynx tries to command others. But generally, SkyLynx is admired by her fellow clan mates for her versatility, skill, and bravery. In the middle of a war, these are the qualities that count.
SkyLynx is prone to wasting food due to her habit of constantly moving even when she has no reason to move.
