Nobody is safe.
Not even her own children.
The ashy lace wrapped around her wings lets it's ends flutter in the wind, an ominous addition to her terrifying silhouette. Her blood red eyes don't even give a blink as they watch her claws drown yet another of her offspring.
She must serve the Tidelord. Repay for her escape. All her sacrifices are named for her- Ediacaran. To ensure he knows they were from her.
Perhaps one day she'll stop. Perhaps one day the deity will return and let her know she can stop. Her debt has been repaid. Edgar has been forgiven for rescuing her. But maybe not. Perhaps she'll continue to serve the deity under whence she was not born. Perhaps she enjoys her reputation. Or rather lack there of.
Her mate. He and his sister- that dreadful Absinthe. They take the credit for the scary occurrences around the 31st of the 10th month. But they both know it's Ediacaran. It's her, with her plague red eyes, flitting around in the night, searching for more victims. The townspeople just notice more around that certain time.
She probably won't ever stop- slating poor, innocent lives to a task she was to cowardly to take on herself.
To serve her new deity directly, in the great battle known as dominance.
