Destina is a member of class D, so at first her security clearance, free dress privileges, and close association with staff is confusing. Until you read her file, that is. Not much is known of Destina's life before she became a D-class. She was born somewhere in the Parched Canyonwalks and then at some point in her life was exalted to Icewarden, becoming a D-class like many other untrained exalts. She was used as a test subject for years and was still alive, so she was tested for anomalous effects. These tests resulted in major injuries to her, but she again failed to die. This confirmed no anomalous abilities, but she did have an exceptional amount of knowledge that helped her survive. Her years around anomalies and Foundation personnel led her to learn many things about anomalies that helped her survive years with dangerous anomalies. Her termination was discussed, but her good nature and cooperative personality instead won her a place in the Foundation. Many personnel have become class D before, but Destina is a rare case of a D-class being inducted into the foundation. She has level 1 clearance and has been given privileges in Facility 17. She is still used as a D-class test subject, but her knowledge and instincts mean that she is only tested with  and  anomalies. She hangs out with staff and the other non-anomalous residents of Facility 17 and has many friends. She is easy-going despite her bloody and dangerous past and is of no threat.
