Unfortunately summoned by Razii along with a few others

Upon entering Sornieth from a strange portal opened within Isk's Starfall Forest, Vertigo devoured an aspect of Lemniscate that was manipulating Razii into ripping a portal open. To the Shade entity's dismay, Riven's daughter opened the wrong door. This was due to the opening of the Forbidden Portal having a ripple effect in other universal tears, scrambling the magic and randomizing the destination.

Vertigo's eyes turned to another unconquered land that had evaded her horrid detection. The surge of magic from the rip within space was irresistible and soon Vertigo was clawing her way through. Other tears within Sornieth synchronized as Vertigo used her own twisted magic to stabilize the link, creating branches of connections as other randomized portals closed, it clicked into place much like a slot machine. *(The duplication of Vertigo was so instantaneous that the copy itself retained that heavy drive to conquer, the insidious being pulled magic from the connection and the original Vertigo to stabilize the link)

Vertigo entered Sornieth at the cost of her shape being shifted and her magic reserves nearly depleted. Having an innate sense for powerful magic, the wretched serpent-now-dragon struck out and devoured the Aspect of Lemniscate. The tie that Lemniscate had linked with the Aspect was not only severed but it caused a massive loss of magic that temporarily injured and hindered the Shade possessed Emperor. Upon absorbing the Shade, Vertigo found herself empowered with a new well of energy and had set her sight on taking Razii as well only to become outnumbered. Vertigo escaped quickly, blinking herself to an unnamed island far to the south.

As time turns on, Vertigo is coming to realize a very nasty side effect of devouring a Shade entity for their power. As her magic begins to drain, she is now as hungry as the Shade and must find a new source of raw magic to feed herself and bolster her power once more. But first, she must acquire a following as she had on Urth, hands to do her bidding and eyes to seek her next prey. She will not stop until this strange land bends to her horrid will.

*This is not the true Vertigo, rather an exact copy that was split from the original as she passed through the portal. The original Vertigo still remains on Urth, having actually been ejected from the portal as the magic made a cell-by-cell copy that would be compatible with Sornieth. This "copy" retains all memories and desires, but not powers, henceforth her initial reaction to devour the shade entity upon her exit into Sornieth. This copy believes herself to be the true Vertigo
