◄💦► Forthright | Droll | Keen The tinkling of bells heralds the arrival of Venture. Her ice bound hide creaks like a thawing river, shards of the frozen water of her element breaking off and melting into mist as she moves. She is hardly subtle, but she is a strong warrior who charges into the fray with no concern for such things, preferring to deal brutal swipes of her tail and claws to any enemy unlucky enough to come before her. She does not venture onto the battlefield alone, but she is the driving force behind any skirmish, the first into the fray and the last to retreat, guarding her lair mates wings with prejudice. That is not to say that she is an unkind dragon. She is a cunning conversationalist and always has a compliment for the craftings of her clanmates. Her lair is filled with such things, bartered for with the spoils of her many battles. She is especially partial to those arcane works that burn with pale flames, cold fire that fills her lair with light but not warmth to go with the freezing water that drips down the walls of her lair and into the pool where she sleeps. She is a favorite on quiet nights, the chimes of the icicles on her wings soothing the hatchlings to sleep as she makes rounds about the clan's territory or moves her wings to crack the ice that forms around her pale wings while she sleeps, the sounds echoing for miles. They serve as a warning for any beast foolish enough to try their luck in the sprawling lairs where the clan slumbers. No such interloper has ever made a second attempt. |
