Biography
She was the old Queen's advisor. She doesn't like Shadowfax.
she likes Realm
Sum lore:
Shadowfax sat on a sun warmed slab of sandstone in the middle of a garden. It was rare it was sunny around here, and already another storm crackled above the desert horizon in the distance. Her talons were crossed and there was an unusually thoughtful look on her young face. Blossom had just finished her lessons for the day and had left on an errand, leaving ShadowFax to herself and her thoughts. Suddenly, she heard the swish of wings and turned her head. Starr, a beautifully star-covered purple spiral alighted just twelve feet from her.
They stared at each other for a moment.
"You aren't fit to be queen" Starr hissed.
"I know I'm not" Shadow calmly replied.
"You're too young! You're not even Lighting-born!"
"Neither are you."
Starr glared into her eyes for a moment, tsked angerly and turned away. "Is that all you came to say?" Shadowfax asked, her eyes fixed on the back of the spiral's head. Starr turned around slowly. "No." She smiled as wide as her long mouth could. "I've come to offer to be your advisor." Her voice was dripping with fake sweetness. "I was the last queen's advisor- I didn't steer her wrong, did I? The only decision she ever made herself-" She paused and cocked her head. "Was you."
"I didn't know why she chose me to be the queen, neither do I know why she chose me so suddenly. It was quite a surprise to me too, you know." Her voice was suddenly louder and more forceful than it had been before. "And no, you'll never be my advisor as long as I live."
A flash of fear went across Starr's face. But it was quickly replaced with the same arrogant anger that had been there before.
A roll of thunder pealed in the distance.
"Well, who will it be then?" Starr asked coldly.
"Why do you need to know? Are you going to try and poison them, like you did the last queen?" Shadowfax asked coolly.
"I never tried to poison the queen!" Starr spat. It's just a theory made up by children like yourself. I've never done anything to lead her wrong- and I won't do anything to lead you wrong. Make me your advisor, and I'll make your life easy."
"I've chosen not to have an advisor." ShadowFax lifted herself off the stone and flew away deftly as the first raindrops wet the ground.
Starr sat alone, coiled up in the garden as the rain came down. She sat thinking. Thinking and plotting.
"Fine then. Her life doesn't have to be easy anyways."
