Eye of Newt, Toe of a Dead Dragon, Nettle, Holly, and Nightsbane. Taliesan is quick to put on a show of the creepiest of herbs and wax poetic about the many poisons of the world to unsuspecting customers looking for a spook due to her appearance.
The truth of the matter is she's just a Theater Kid and everything in her shop is harmless unless you're stupid enough to take enough to actually do you harm. She would never offer straight poisons and or herbs that would cause pain or chaos in her shop and would be horrified at the suggestion. She grew up among the plants and herbs in the Wind Flight territory, learning the ways of making potions to heal and recover and thus brought this knowledge with her when she grew and left to pursue her own life in other territories. Her aim is as it has always been: To give the best quality products so that any cure, ointment, medicine, tincture, or what have you can be made to suit the needs of the ailing. If people think she's a swamp witch dabbling in dark arts when the shop is closed, that's on them. She knows her friends are eccentric and odd, and that some of her most recurring customers are certainly of the more dangerous folk in the clan but this doesn't bother her one bit. Even a villain deserves a salve to help a gash and a rambunctious hatchling a balm to help their bruise after all. Just don't make her mad or you might find that powder you bought will cure your sniffles but make you itch for days. |
