"I was seen as a curse the moment I hatched and they named me as such."
Heresy was born into a clan that viewed her as a bad omen because of her white plumage. She has been shunned and rejected most of her life for this. Despite the bad start in her early life she keeps a smile on her face and treats others as kindly as she can. In general she has a happy disposition but remains very self-conscious of her appearance. Her plumage has long been dyed to hide the fact she's mostly pale.
The only other pale coatl in the lair, Skazka, scoffs at her for this.
Her birth-lair had the decency to wait until she was an adult before they kicked her out. Exiled and alone, she followed the promises in the wind of a lair that took in anyone looking for a home. Including a jinx like her.
Her journey was a long one and she gathered more than a few stories from other fellow travelers in her time on the road. The scouting interactions she had with dragon and beastclan were some of the only pleasant exchanges she had with others in her life. Their own tales of exploration and why they chose the nomadic life almost convinced her to stay on the paths less traveled.
All at once she found herself at the gate of AzuleHaven.
The lair was as welcoming as promised. Though a few coatls in the lair blinked twice at her white feathers, no one remarked on them. It was so large it was close to overwhelming. The culture shock of it all hit hard the first few days.
Heresy took a free-lance job as a journalist. She recounts her own days in her travels around Sornieth and will interview others to have their own nomadic tales published in the lair's newspaper.
