Hel was a child of Lilith. After a long sickness, half of her body had died and was zombified, but she was still alive and capable of controlling her zombified self. Due to her appearance, humankind worshipped her as goddess of death.
Although her body made Hel slow, she was strong and invulnerable to physical pain. She was close to Lilith and her sons and helped them building the world for demons and dragons. Her calm and considerate character was respected, even among the dragon council.
When she died, she gave her power to the Spirits Leviathan and Mammon, who are now able to transform into Hel, the Eastern Gate of Light, and become part of the great guardian, controlling it's second to right head.
She can spit beams of light and see in darkness.
