Crescentfly goal is to protect his son, his son being a subspecies crys for more danger than he thought. That being said he ended up dressing as part of the lighting collectors subspecies, knowing full well he ain't one of them.

Lore:
BIG OL WIP, feel free to read though.

I was in love, at least I thought I was. She took me out of hibernation, I was sad and lonely in there, but now I felt please, happy, the feeling of love... Oh was naive to think that. Kannai, Kannai was a beautiful Wildclaw indeed, her beauty outweighs any other that I've seen.
We had two kids, I was happy, so happy. They hatched, they seem normal. My son Moonsong, my daghuther Aife. They were perfect, beautiful kids with a beautiful dragon mate.
But no, she took Aife and left us. The deep sorrow I felt, it hurt, it hurt a lot. But I realized now what kind of dragons she and her family were, it was brutal, their species were brutal. I don't blame her, I don't blame anyone in this case, I guess I'm still have some luck though. I was left with one of our children I could raise, something to remind me of her, her grace and her beauty.

I'd grabbed my son, placed him on my back and headed outwards to an infection of a place. I knew this wasn't a place for him to grow up, I knew deep inside there's something different, something special about him. Not just the fact he's part of the subspecies, but something more. We walked to the plague filled area, I grabbed anything that had vaule to me, took Hellhound my familiar, and we went off again.

We went though a place with high depths of winds, although pretty in areas, and the wings calm down it wasn't too bad to fly. When it did walking around the wind domain was really beautiful. I look back at my son and could tell he was in awe by the place, I can't lie, I was too.
The next place wasn't as fruitful. A wasteland of ash and fire, hot as hell and a scary place to go though when you're young, thankfully my son has fallen asleep, the heat might have been relaxing to a young one like him. So, I'm thankful for that. The ash tingle though my claws, and the fire was smothering; but, we made it though alive and well, no other dragon bother us.

Hearing the crackling of thunder my son woke up, rudely waking up from his slumber. I could hear the faintest of stomach growls. Now knowing my child was hungry I quickly looked for a good place to nest in for awhile. Finding one I set him down. "Listen my son" I spoke softly as I looked at him with sorrowful eyes, not wanting to leave him here alone, but knowing it's more risky if I took him. "You need to stay here for a bit, I can tell you're hungry. So, can you do that for me? Rest here for a bit?" I saw a nod from his little head before coming up to me to hug me. I smiled "I'll be back soon with something to eat" with that I flew off looking for something for my son, my precious son.

It took an hour, but I return home with plenty of grub to eat. My son watching me in awement as I swooped in. "Dada! Dada!" I heard him cry out as he waddled over to me, looking at me now with hunger, and as if right on que our stomachs growled together. I pull out all assortments of food I found in the lighting domain. Made a little salad of plants, meat, & seafood for both of us to chow on, after that we both head to sleep snuggled together for me, to keep my son safe from harm.

In the morning I headed out while my son was still asleep. I needed to get a sense of what happened, why did she betrayed me. I needed to find out what she was. My dear Kannai...
Searching for answers didn't take long, they were a lighting subspecies. Looking for the best of the best in offspring, I wasn't any different, a pawn in the system for their species... There was no love from her, now I understand why, their species after all is full of solitude. The sad thing is I fell for this little plan, to futher their species. It's saddening, but there isn't anything I can do now. After all, I still have my lovely son. Learning this information did make me think though. I need to blend in, become "part of them", it was for my son, to protect my son. I needed an outfit, I needed to train for countless nights. Searching for scatter cloth and try to make something out of it. It'll take awhile but it'll be for my son.

And so, the search began. Not just finding food, but scraps of cloth, metal and jewels to create something like the Lighting Collectors have for outfits. The problem was, how can I make something? I wasn't a creative type, nor did I even know how to create anything remotely wearable.

But one day from returning home with more scraps & food, I saw my son. Sitting there sewing up what looks like to be some sort of cloak. I put the stuff down and walk up to him with a smile in between my jaws. "Whatcha doing son?" I said sweetly looking over his work, getting a feel for his talent.
"Sewing! You been bringing stuff and struggling to make something out of it?" He looked puzzled, not sure if he was correct on his statement. "I guess I took it apond myself to help you! After all, no idle claws~"
That statement, I felt like I heard it somewhere but I'm simply unsure if I had or not. It concerned me no doubt about it. "Well that's good" I said, still pondering the 'no idle claws' I knew I heard it somewhere... But where? "And you're right son, I have no idea how to create anything remotely wearable, such a talent you have!~" I reassure him as well as compliment him, it was true after all, he did have a gift of sorts.
He smiled at me, gave a little nod and said "I'll happily keep working on something for you!"
I smiled back, it wasn't needed but I knew it would make him happy if he did, and it'll futher his talent. "Sure thing son" I said, I was a little eager on what he could possibly create. I was excited.

The next day I headed out to collect more things. I didn't intend to be gone long. There was quite a thunderstorm brewing and I wanted to be there for my son.
While I was out I saw other dragons that were apart of my son's subspecies

I don't know my parents as they abandoned me when I was just a hatchling. I won't ever do this to my own son...!

Kannai took Aife for a higher cause in their little sub-species... I hope both of those ladies are doing well...~ My son? He's as perfect as he is, no matter his small size!

Thank you Moichao10, for all the kind words and giving this boy a purpose. If I remember correctly I was planning to sell him, I left him in my Hibernal Den for god knows how long. But you came along wanting to use him for a breeding project, I was happy to help, and I'm happy with outcome. Now he has a purpose, a purpose to protect his poor stunted son. Thank you, thank you very much for this.

Not part of the lighting collectors subspecies, his son is though. He dresses and acts like he is to protect and provide for his son, his son needs all the help he can get.
