Despite her elder age, Laminaria has an incredibly young soul and body. Due to a lifetime of practicing dance, her form is more flexible than Spirals half her age! There are few things Laminaria enjoys more than dressing up, and she enjoys shuffling through the mounds of fanciful jewelry and dressings in her lair before pulling out the perfect ensemble. Occasionally, her mate Tsunami is pulled into the whirlwind and emerges with painted nails and glowing rings adorning his claws!

The underwater cave lair Laminaria shares with Tsunami is clearly a junction of their eccentricities. Tropical fish float tranquilly throughout the cave, content with the shelter provided to them. All sorts of deepsea treasures line the floor and walls of the cave, from barnacle-encrusted artifacts hauled from shipwrecks to waterlogged chests yet to be opened. Interspersed between are pearls, crystals, and cards commonly used in divination. Woven kelp curtains sway along with the gentle current.
