Biography
Saint ~ It/Its
Its gnarled claws scraped the dry earth as it crawled its way out of the crevasse. It emerged, snarling and hissing at the rotting Imperial who'd found it. The dragon solemnly stared back at the beast for a few moments, unblinking, before he lowered his head slowly and sniffed the young demon. He exhaled hard, nearly knocking it over, and lifted his head back up, staring at the strangely dragon-shaped creature for another minute before gesturing for it to follow him if it wanted.
It did.
Confused and calmed down, the beast followed the impossibly large dragon across the hard, dusty ground for what seemed like ages before they stopped at an empty cave. A crudely-smiling Pearlcatcher slithered out and picked up the demon with her foreclaws and her smile grew wider, happier. She set it down, pat it on the head, and told it that it could stay, unlike their other children.
Children? It did not need babying.
The beast tried to growl in protest of being kept as these mortals' hatchling, and instead, it received a bellowing roar in response from the Imperial looming above it. It understood. It bowed its head and accepted to live amongst dragonkind.
It did not agree to be peaceful.
