Sun God And War God Thought They Destroyed The Ocean, But Now They're Back And They're Furious!
A character from an original story of mine that takes place in a wild west-esque fantasy world. A long, long time ago, Saar was the god of the ocean. A force of creation and one of the primordial gods, they were respected by the others and both beloved and feared by humanity. However, when the Sun and War decided they wanted to start fresh with the material plane and wipe all life from its surface, Saar was one of the gods who refused to agree to this plan. As important as water was to the creatures they'd made, War decided destroying the Ocean was as good a plan as any, and with the Sun's help, he cast Saar into the Astral Sea where they were lost for a thousand years. However, they were recently freed by a strange mortal who strayed too far and pulled them free. They clawed their way back to more familiar realms, but realized quickly that their power as a god was nearly gone along with the ocean they'd once made, and they crashed back to the material plane, now nearly completely mortal. They aren't sure how to exist now in this new form, but they do know one thing: the gods who did this to them are going to pay.
