Biography
Sterling || Captains Apprentice & 2nd-in-Command
The young apprentice who often acts more like the captain than Bram does, Sterling is a valiant dragon with a strong love for adventure. Eyes full of wonder, he cannot rest until all the mysteries are solved, and all the treasures are found. Quite ironic that he ended up on a ship that does very little of that, but frankly, he wouldn't have it any other way. What the ship lacks in initiative to plunder doesn't bother him one bit - Sterling isn't in it for the money. Instead, the ship got heart; capable dragons who'll always look out for each other no matter what. Sure, many great explorers did everything alone, but Sterling finds little joy in going solo.
His long time friend, Thornbourne, is the ships Quartermaster. For a little guy he's sure full of attitude. But sometimes that's exactly what this laidback crew needs. Thorn isn't afraid to put them in their place when he needs to. Though more often than not he's just as relaxed as the rest of them.
Sterling can be a stick in the mud when it comes to things that don't catch his interest. He'll participate and indulge, but he won't try to hide his nonchalant expression of boredom. He likes the company, but he's just not cut out for pointless small talk about the weather.
Quite serious too, the spiral is a rational lad who uses his braincells before leaping to action. That doesn't mean he isn't quick to act, he just won't be found in an obvious trap unlike some of the crewmates.
