Mei somehow managed to miss the main part of Terreneuvia, where the 'normal' dragons reside. Instead she managed to land in the middle of a forest, and was greeted by a hostile mirror who went by the name Amphitrite. So instead of beginning her stay on the island with a room key and a scenic view from a room in the inn, Mei began her stay with an angry huntress. Though quickly after pleading for her life, Amphitrite led the imperial to a small clearing where many more dragons lived; it's leafy roof letting in only a slight bit of light, though more than the forest surrounding them. There, in that dusky clearing, is where Mei met Elbereth.

The black coatl was extremely charming- so much so that the two had a nest of eggs before Mei had been introduced to everyone in the clearing. She and Elbereth managed to keep it a secret, though the coatl urged Mei to leave as soon as the nest had hatched and no later. He promised he'd keep the hatchlings safe, at least until he could find them good homes. So Mei left Elbereth, confident in his abilities to care for her first clutch.



Mei had continued her journey through the dark lands of the Tangled Woods. Wandering for days on end lost in the maze of trees. the only light guiding her were the few glowing mushrooms that littered the ground. Feeling like there was no way of out of the endless abyss of the shadows. eventually she had found a thriving community within the tangled woods. the land was covered in the glowing mushrooms, with some reaching up towards the sky. seeing dragons living in some of the larger shrooms. Mei was warmly welcomed into the community, meeting with leader ShadowFlame. She was given a guide to help her around the place, the guide being Shardbreaker.

A few months pass and Mei had started to get close with Shardbreaker. The two would spend every moment they had together. Finally feeling like she had a safe place to call home and having to worry about keeping any secrets. Laying a nest of eggs with Shardbreaker, having 3 beautiful hatchlings. Mei raised her hatchlings along side Shardbreaker. She was happy, well that's at least what she had been telling herself. she couldn't help but wonder what her life would have been like if she been more adamant about staying with Elbereth. Wondering if she'll ever see him again. Missing the charming way he had treated her, something Shardbreaker didn't have. she loved Shardbreaker, yet Shardbreaker seemed to love his passion as healer more.

Eventually Mei had decide to leave after seeing her hatchling grow up and watching some leave to find their place. Missing the freedom she when she first left her home Shardbreaker and her daughter Mayflower urged for her to stay. Not wanting her to leave, but Mei had made up her mind to leave the next day.



Mei followed a run-down path, her mind too busy with thoughts of her previous home, She misses her daughter but she wasn't truly happy staying there, the thought of traveling from one lair to another thrilled her, from her feathered wing tips down to her claws. The feeling of guilt and sadness that she felt had dissipated as quickly as it came, she was excited to see where her travels would end her up next. She wandered the bamboo forest for what felt like days, eventually finding herself meeting a green mirror, he introduces himself as Greenscale, he was actually on his way home from a trip and could take Mei with him since he's one of the leaders for a lair nearby. She immediately accepted, tired of being lost in the endless bamboo.

The two arrive to the lair, Greenscale dubbing it The Hidden Brook. Mei looked around, the place mostly populated by fae as they flitted around in the air, doing their own things. Mei was surprised at the sheer amount of fae in one area, their colors and small size looking like large butterflies. Greenscale lead her to a den, it fit an imperial of her size perfectly, surprised to say the least considering the lair was primarily smaller dragon species.

Mei had been there for about a month, she had met a dashing Coatl, he was kind, charming even, his name was Paul. She wasn't sure what drew her to him, they met while Mei was getting settled in and the two had gotten talking, they looked almost exactly alike, their colors and patterns matched.

The two hit it off almost immediately, they shared similar interests in travel and after a month of being together they had two hatchlings, Mei loved them both but she knew Paul wasn't ready to be a father and so adopted her eldest to a different family, hoping she would be well taken care of. Silas was a different story however, they decided to keep him but Mei had the itch for travel again and left, saying goodbye to Paul and Silas who was only a few days old.
