Origins:
Virruk wandered the small shop in search of new scrolls with which to contain the ever-growing wishes of the Quilrarth clan. He had a constant need for scrolls, and had a soft spot for uniquely crafted ones. With a pouch slung across his neck, he had set out for the market.

While admiring an intricate scroll which he was quite fond of, Virruk felt a tap on his shoulder. Two young dragons, one larger than himself, greeted him with soft eyes. "Hello there," he said, rolling up the scroll with one hand. "Hello," said the nocturne. "Where are you from?" Her voice was timid and young. "I am from the Quilrarth clan, in the Arcane territory." Virruk hoped they knew enough about Sornieth to understand the elemental regions, and replied curiously. He wondered how these young dragons had gotten here.

"Can we come with you? We want somewhere to stay." The nocturne's pale blue eyes bore into Virruk's soft heart, and he couldn't say no. He regarded both of them for a moment, seeing the similarity between the two, and agreed.

Once back at the clan's lair, Virruk began to question the two siblings. They revealed their names, and Virruk questioned them on what they wanted their role in the clan to be. The imperial shyly followed after Nuri finished with her explanations.

"...I want to make outfits..." The imperial was shy and fidgeted with his claws. "Oh?" Virruk tilted his head, perplexed at the dragon's hesitance. "That is a lovely job to have." The imperial lifted his eyes off the ground, a small glimmer in them. "Really?" he asked. "...Father wanted me to be a scientist. The numbers always confused me though... I always got distracted by his necklace. It was so pretty and I asked him if I could get one. He said no, told me I shouldn't get distracted..." Virruk turned and plucked one of his scrolls from his desk. "What color and style was it?" The imperial happily wiggled his wings, with newfound energy. "Yellow! He said they were daisies. They smelled nice!" Virruk scribbled down "Daisy Lei" on his scroll and told the young dragon all about different clothes and accessories. The imperial's passion for the topic, alongside Nuri's, sparked an idea in Virruk.

Virruk decided he would teach these two nestmates and raise them up to manage parts of his wishlists. While he enjoyed his job, he decided that a bit of help would be beneficial. Besides, the two dragons were passionate and eager to help out. Their past may have been shrouded in mystery, but their future is hopeful and full of adventure.

"Oh um... well I haven't really thought about it much... my father always discouraged those kinds of thoughts, so I tried to obey him. I've never really gotten the chance to experience many complex outfits yet, aside from a few members of my previous clan, as well as my current one. Although, I think I want lots of purples and yellows in my outfit. Maybe something that resembles my profession as well? Oh, Virruk is calling me, I should go. I'll have to ask him to show me new accessories, thanks for the ideas. And thanks for talking to me, too...!"

Olwen regards you silently for a moment, lost in thought, before the corners of his mouth curl in a small smile. "Hmm… I think you mistake my eloquence for wisdom, but I do appreciate the compliment. I haven’t faced as many hardships as some other dragons of the clan, and in my eyes, hardships promote “enlightenments,” as you put it. But if I had to give advice to you… don’t let others define who you are because of expectations, because of your heritage, because of the way you look or act, or any other reason. Ultimately your life is in no hands but your own. When I was young, Virruk led me to discover this same lesson. I’m not sure whether or not it’s something you needed to hear, but unfortunately it is one of the few wisdoms I can pass on to you. I wish you and your loved ones well."
