Moth is unusually amiable for a mirror. New dragons and dragons from other clans are always surprised that a mirror serves in the nursery and cares for hatchlings. He claims to have been more aggressive in his former clan, though no one can confirm this. The sappiness he shows towards his beloved mate and every hatchling to pass through the clan provides no proof to his claim.

He and Hesperie make an odd pair. She leads the offensive military force of the clan, and he cares for hatchlings. This in no way prevents them from being one of the most overly affectionate couples in the clan. Moth is exceptionally proud of his mate, and likes to tell wide-eyed hatchlings of her many exploits. They all have at least a grain of truth.

He's the preferred snuggler of most hatchlings because of how fluffy he is. His own children get bragging rights among the other hatchlings because they get to sleep cuddled with him the most.
