Biography

A wayward Plague, and the resident expert on all things plants. Yearning to bring growth and life to the world, Warmth's extensive magical studies have brought her an unparalleled relationship with the flora around her. The higher spirits of the trees have grown fond of her, so they consider her when she asks them favors. The lesser spirits of the flowers and the grasses and the vegetables, simply blossom in health at her presence.

Not all of her success stems from magical sources, however. It is impossible to effect another spirit or substance without first thoroughly understanding it and how it works. Warmth spent many years manually studying, growing, and tending countless species of plantlife, and has taken pride in being a reliable community gardener since she was a hatchling.

All dragons of the emerald magics are able to manipulate greenery - bending and twisting branches into walkways, boosting the speed at which something grows, imbuing plants with vitality, and so on. But Warmth, being as experienced as she is, is much more adept at cultivation. It takes more than basic magic to farm subsistence for her new family here, and she uses her skills to feed and supply the colony - while helping and guiding other dragons on how to properly garden to feed themselves.

The natural ruby magics of her Plague blood still course through her, and the balance between the life of the Gladekeeper's energy and the decay of the Plaguebringer's power form a beautiful balance in the hands of a gardener. Death is but a source of energy for new life, and life may always be cut into new uses by death, and Warmth is adept at delicately juggling this cycle.

There is a shed in the canopies - containing countless tools, sacks of soil, baskets of compost - cradled by a wide plank platform. Potted on and hanging above this platform is Warmth's personal garden. She diligently tends to her greenery, and lives in a humble lean-to tent against her supply shed. There are comfortable pillows and floor mats, and a couple tapestries hanging, with almost no other personal possessions.

She quite likes listening to the crickets and the froglings at night, watching the fireflies fight the stars for command of the skies.

Helps grow herbs and teas for Dove, and spends a lot of time with her and Anastasia.
