At once warrior, priest, and diviner, Kyriar is the Snowsquall Clan's chaplain. Her most important task is to prepare acolytes for exaltation to the Windsinger. This process involves blessings, a ritual cleansing—both by water, and exposure to the fierce winds of the Twisting Crescendo—and for those dragons who lack one, divining a suitable name from portents during the ritual. Despite her skill in combat she rarely trains acolytes herself. While consecrating them, however, she considers them to be wholly her wards, and will fight with unmatched ferocity against anything that threatens the cleansing.

Though she of course lacks any access to water magic, Kyriar's skill with wind is such that she can use it to shape and manipulate liquids. She uses this skill extensively, both for her tasks and for fun; when she has no acolytes to attend to, she can often be found in one of the lair's common areas, sculpting water into various shapes for the entertainment of her clanmates.
