Main Theme: Emperor’s New Clothes - Panic! At The Disco

______ Born in the haven of the Viridian Labyrith, Clodovea was hatched in a clan of thieves, runaways, and mercenaries from all around Sornieth. In the tunnels winding around the Gladeveins, outlaws and dangerous dragons lurked just beyond her claws. Where her siblings immediately ran out of their nest to go explore, their middle sister was left behind. In the pile of discarded eggshells, Clodovea sat, looking out the entrance to the cave with narrowed eyes. A darkness lurked within the hatchling that couldn’t be explained. Only when Miere’s single Obelisk went in to check on why one of the expected Gaoler’s hadn’t come out had she been discovered, the shadows in the room gathering around her as if she was one of them.

______ Suprised by this discovery, Sabiya quickly called over another dragon to watch over Clodovea as she recruited the clan matriarch and a few of the best warriors to investigate the hatchling. The Obelisk started to explain the situation only to be interrupted by screaming that came from the hatching cave. Lokianos stumbled out, clutching onto one of his many eyes, hissing in pain. The group looked into the room only to be met with the gaze for the hatchling happily starting to prance towards them, shadows still encircling her. They all backed up as she moved forward. Clodova finally sat down right in the entrance of the cave, looking out upon the dragons in front of her. After a few moments of the shock of seeing such an unnatural sight, a small mutter came from the only Skydancer in the group gathered. “The Shade.”

______ No one had heard of the Shade touching a hatchling within their lair and yet here it was, swirling around the young Gaoler and seeming like it was sucking up all the light in the room. Sabiya, pushed by some primal instinct, pushed the other dragons off, leaving behind only a small Veilspun by the name of Ren who- despite her size- was known for her deadliness. With the help of the Veilspun watching to make sure Clodovea didn’t try anything, they sealed the hatchling behind a heavy door. They had managed to contain both her and the Shade, but at what cost wuld she be freed from her prison?

______ Despite her sweet outward appearance, Clodovea is cunning and ruthless. She’s not to be trusted though even the most cold-hearted dragons are susceptible to her charms. Honestly she’s make an amazing assassin if not for her inability to listen properly. As a result of the Shade’s touch, she does hear whispers of voices around the edges of her thought and can be seen as a lunatic for replying back to them although she doesn’t quite understand that not everyone hears them.
