Biography
Subject Bo-4 "Hochstet”
Background: Appeared with Cricket. Apparently, the reason they each willingly came to our clan was to see if our knowledge of curses could do anything for his ailment. This ailment, of all things, is a curse inhabiting his body. This alone was a surprise, but the curse themself has proven to be worryingly powerful, considering the fact they manage to live on in a singular host. It's unclear if his easily aggravated attitude is a result from his state, or if his quick fuse has been around since before The Intruder found him.Symptoms: Fatigue, switching between an increased appetite and no appetite at all, insomnia, sudden bursts of strange magic. All are symptoms of the curse inhabiting him.
Treatment: Research ways to weaken or remove a curse, perhaps move him to Brian's den if worse comes to worst.
Sources: Cricket is his partner, and seems to be the only part of his life that isn't affected by The Intruder. They seem more intent on finding a cure, as his will to continue looking has been waning each clan they visit. Honestly, the comfort Hochstet seems to find in them has worried me slightly. By itself it's fine, but I can't help but imagine what would happen if Cricket were harmed... The Intruder is the curse inhabiting him. I wouldn't list someone who has such a shaky relationship with him, but they're the best source of whatever's happening to him.

Subject Bo-4-C "The Intruder”
Background: Nothing is known of The Intruder's past, but they don't show any desire to leave Hochstet alone. They are a prime example of a malevolent curse, but exhibit the unusual choice to inhabit one individual instead of infecting multiple. It seems to have been this way for some time now, long before those two(or three) came here. According to Hochstet, The Intruder appears as a dark towering Banescale with ragged blue markings and spiralling horns. They constantly emit an inky smoke and their shape bends in ways that are impossible in the physical world. Their eyes are that of the shadow element, implying where they were created.Symptoms: The source of Hochstet's ailment, along with his seeming to be immune to effects of the curse.
Treatment: Any methods of removing The Intruder are as of yet unknown.
Sources: Hochstet is the only way to contact The Intruder, as far as I know.
