Yggdrasil, the Great Tree, sits in the center of the Realm of the Gods. In his boughs, he bears shining, golden fruits which grant the consumer anything they wish- with a twist. Oftentimes, their desires are brought upon in a way that isn't exactly desired. For example, if a mortal ate a fruit and wished to be incredibly physically strong, they would become incredibly monstrous and so strong that even gentle touches would be bone-shattering.

Due to these circumstances, it is forbidden by Maelstrom to consume any of his fruits. Even if one were to attempt to steal a fruit under cover, the tree can sense when a fruit has been laid in the wrong hands, and will act accordingly- unless the fruit's effects are deserved.

He is both tree and dragon, inanimate but living and listening. he enjoys listening to the sounds of everyday activity. he loves when dragons talk to him and especially loves when hatchlings read stories to him.
