Biography
Isavaar, the Plunderer
"Scourge of the Westerly Winds, you say? Well, I'll take that as a compliment. Oh, and all your treasure, too." Role: Captain of the Dreadnaught Mate: None Wants: Treasure. A lot of treasure. |
A Pirate's Life
Born of two Shadow Dragon parents seeking refuge in the Zephyr Steppes, Isavaar was an odd mix of the outgoing Wind personality mixed with the natural cunning and intuitive need to play mind-games that came from his parent's Shadow heritage. Gifted with a glib tongue, a keen wit, and a skill at persuasion, Isavaar has made a name for himself as the Captain of the Ship, Dreadnaught; the life of a Buccaneer, a Swashbuckler, and a purveyor of "Borrowed Goods". It also didn't hurt his rise to notoriety that his First Mate is a Yeti named Bruiser. He leads a rag-tag team of Dragons and Beastmen on the pursuit of Glory, Infamy, and Fortune. Nicknamed the "Scourge of the Westerly Winds", Isavaar runs a tight operation out of the Crystalspine Reaches that up until recently, went flawlessly. It wasn't until a bounty was placed on his head that his life became a lot more complicated. I mean, it wasn't his fault that the Shadowbinder keeps all her 'valuables' in huge piles in the Forum of the Obscured Crescent. How was he to know she'd notice a few things had gone missing? To compound his troubles, his former Captain, whom he not-so-kindly acquired the Dreadnaught from, has recently resurfaced with a new crew, dubbing themselves the Red Tide, and they're out for vengeance. It seems the Shadowbinder has sent a few special agents of hers to retrieve what was taken, and as of late, many misfortunes have befallen the crew. Could it be a curse? Will the item be given back? Can it be given back? Should it be given back? Will Isavaar and the crew escape the pursuit of the Red Tide? Can they fight them off? Is it too late to parlay? They say there is no honour among thieves; only time will tell. |
