Mischievous, responsible, intense

Mari's appearance is striking. Her shining black mane easily covers half her body, and it sways majestically as she moves. This look takes a tremendous amount of upkeep, but it's a sacrifice she makes gladly.

Mari is popular due to her upstanding and friendly nature. She's an excellent chaperone for hatchlings and keeps the little ones in line without squashing their fun. She often adds more nacre to her pearl after these delightful playdates, wanting to preserve these happy memories forever.

Pearlcatchers are infamous for their egos, and while Mari is no different, it manifests in her obsession with excellence. She is usually modest and considerate to others, but dragons who collaborate with her on projects tend to be humbled and overwhelmed by her strict approach. She does best when working with a superior that can temper this unpleasant side of hers.
